Martin M. Yadrick, MBI, MS, RDN, FAND, is director of nutrition informatics at Computrition Inc., a Los Angeles-based provider of software solutions to the nutrition and foodservice industry. Yadrick recently was the President of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, the world's largest organization of food and nutrition professionals. The Academy represents more than 100,000 credentialed practitioners - registered dietitian nutritionists and nutrition and dietetics technicians, registered. Yadrick is current chair of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Foundation, whose mission is to empower current and future food and nutrition practitioners to optimize global health. Yadrick previously served as chair of the Academy's political action committee, ANDPAC; chair of the Nutrition Informatics Committee; a member of the Board of Directors; Academy treasurer; an Academy media spokesperson; and chair of the Sports, Cardiovascular and Wellness Nutrition dietetic practice group. Yadrick earned his undergraduate degree from Colorado State University; a master's degree from the University of Kansas; an MBA degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and a Master of Biomedical Informatics degree from Oregon Health & Science University.
